I went to the dollar general store

I went to the Dollar General store to pick up toilet paper and moist cat and dog food. While at the register there I met the lovely cashier Brittany who is 8 months pregnant and a beautiful older black lady (couldn't tell her age ). We proceeded to talk about the devastation that just took place lastnight over in Deland, another hurricane. Then war. How we are living through yet another war, another hurricane, and the violence that is occurring today that is everywhere. How their is no manners, and how no one is cordial or even thankful for the day that they have recieved. God was brought up and I quoted the scripture which is the second scripture of the ten commandments of how we should love our neighbor as ourselves, and even by doing this you can learn your neighbors name and be mannerly toward all. Brittany stated that no one on her street knows each others name and how nice it would be to get to know her neighbors, she also said that after her baby is born she will teach it good morals and manners. The lovely black lady proceeded to talk about the generations of her family and how she will be a great great great great grandmother and how God has blessed her again and again and that she prayed everyday for his blessings. I enjoyed the conversations that I had today knowing that their are people out thier that still believe in God and that consider themselves being blessed by him. Also, how people in general want to get to know others in a good way. Everyday we learn something that is good. I am glad that these ladies are taking each day as it comes with new surprises even during dreary days like today when it is raining and still the world is in its state of condition.
